WHATS NEW FOR MAY 2011?

We are delighted to inform you that we have had our busiest month ever at Essex Pilates Classes, with more people wanting to take classes or develop their existing practice.  We believe that the level of interest in classes will increase even further given the fact that there has been so much hype about Pippa Middleton’s pert bottom and the fact that she believes that she has Pilates to thank for her greatly admired form!  Of course regular Pilates class members have known this all along but it is nice to get such a public endorsement of the practice all the same.

POWER PILATES GETS THE THUMBS UP!

This month we introduced a new class which moves slightly away from the classical pilates which is taught in all of our standard classes.  The Power Pilates class is generated from some very sound scientific research relating to bio-mechanics and functional fitness, so that the exercises practiced in class are designed to help strengthen and prepare the body for things that we do outside of class.  The general feedback we have received has been extremely positive with some class members now attending traditional and also Power Pilates and others converting to Power Pilates in preference to classical.  We encourage class members to work with the format that suits their body and also to make sure they enjoy the class they attend because a class has to be enjoyable to stick to our practice long term.

PILATES FOR CHELMSFORD

We have a waiting list for a Chelmsford based Pilates class, please be patient with us as we are trying to secure a suitable and convenient venue for this class at present but hope to have the class up and running for June 2011.
